What is Legacy?
Legacy is the coolest student-run conference in Canada! The annual entrepreneurship conference brings in founders & industry leaders to speak to & connect with attendees through keynotes, panels, and more.
What should I wear?
Everyone has their own definition of "business casual". We accept them all - suits and jeans both welcome!
What should I bring?
Yourself, some clothes, maybe some business cards, and a smile :) If you plan on jotting anything down, a laptop or a notebook could be handy.
I'm not an entrepreneur, but Legacy seems hype! Will I feel out of place?
No way! Legacy is catered to people who have an interest in entrepreneurship and the world of startups, just as much as it's catered to those wanting to start one (or who already have!) You'll be fine. Trust us, you don't want to miss out on this!
Where and when is The Legacy Conference 2025?
March 28 from 1:00-6:30pm, at the Alma Duncan Salon in the Ottawa Art Gallery.

Most high-quality conferences cost at least $700 for a ticket.
We keep prices low so that you, as students, get the resources you need to champion your dreams.
What exactly happens at The Legacy Conference?
Keynotes: The main events are the keynote speakers and guest speakers. They take up the majority of the day.
Networking: Attendees can interact with all the partners and sponsors participating at the conference. All sponsors and partners are open and ready to answer any questions you have.
Workshops: They are usually held by our sponsors and partners. They’re intended for our attendees to learn a new skill or perfect a current one.
Mentorship: Mentorship sessions are one-on-one conversations with full-time entrepreneurs. They are intended for you to ask all your founder-related questions.
Who will I find there?
Students, entrepreneurs, founders, representatives from tons of startups; essentially, a lot of really cool people that you're going to want to meet!
I'm not in business or engineering - is this really an event for me?
Are you interested in the concept of creating something? Could that something, someday maybe be your own business? Are you interested in the world of startups and entrepreneurship? If you answered yes to any of that, then absolutely!
